This is the planner spread I put together for Halloween week! I kept with the classic colors, as it was the easiest to find in stores. Most of the stuff was purchased from Michael's, pretty slim pickings but I managed to find some cute items. I will say that the rub off stickers I used were really difficult to get right, it kind of pulled a bit of the planner paper with it when I went to peel off the plastic. I still love the way everything turned out though. Happy Halloween and may all your wildest Halloween wishes come true!!

My very first week decorating my planner! Of course, I went for a Halloween theme (next week will be spooky as well). I don't have a lot of supplies to work with yet, but I'm more then confident I'll build up quite a collection of stickers, washi tape and the like!

I've bought several items from this site and looking back on it, with the exception of the very first dress I bought from this site, I've never been exceptionally pleased with the items I got. The website is very "hit or miss," most of it being a "miss"  There has always been at least one thing that was off. My most recent purchase from them (most definitely my last) has quite a few things wrong with it. The lure of such stupidly low prices had me firmly in it's grasp and I was willing to settle for a lot of junk, however I say no more because in the end I'm just wasting my money. Now let's get to the questionably items at hand...

The Ramones dress was fine I just had to do some minor sewing in the back because part of the zipper flap was sewn down funny making the dress look slightly crooked in the back.

What I got instead: 

The cats don't even look the same :/ ( I ordered the dress in pink so there was no problem with that)

*sigh* I'm officially done taking chances with this site. I will say though, despite all the questionable products their customer service is AMAZING. I wish all sites had customer service like them. They are incredibly fast with replying to any questions or concerns I have. Returning items is a breeze. All I can say is order at your own risk!

My mind is going dizzy with all the projects I would like to get my eager little hands on! Unfortunately, I can't do everything at once so I've decided to start a new sewing project and stick to it till the end. I love the style of the 1940's and own pretty much every vintage style pattern Vogue, Butterick or Simplicity have put out. Only problem is I've never actually used any of the patterns... But that's all about to change starting with pattern 1692!

 The floral pattern to the left is the fabric I'll be using to make the pictured blouse. I'm hoping it will be as easy as it looks :)
